Lot of 4: 1) A paper labeled "Old Pioneer Special" half pint shoo fly bottle from The Old Pioneer Saloon, 3001 Steiner Street, San Francisco. Knife edge base embossed "Full 1/2 Pint." On reverse is the Caution Notice as required by Congress to allow the bottling of distilled spirits in bond. No one can remove the stamp for any purpose but to consume contents. This particular container was bottled in bond by E.J. Wiley Distillery Number 9, 8th District Kentucky." The cork and glass stopper are still in bottle, although the glass portion is broken. Not listed in Wilson or Thomas. Rare. 2&3) Post-earthquake shoo fly, token set from Carl Albert. Slug plate reads "Carl Albert Schlesselmann`s N.W. Corner Hayes & Devisadero Sts. (misspelled)" Outside screw top, un-ground and concave bottom. Not listed in Wilson or Thomas. Rare. Also included, a "Good for Five Cent Drink` token from same establishment. 4) A post-earthquake, natural sun colored picnic half pint with knife edge embossed 256. "Temple Bar Sutter & Polk Sts San Francisco, Cal." Has a single roll collar with applied top, un-ground. Listed 218 Thomas. Very nice piece that completes a unique group. - Feisel Collection -59098
