SCOTTISH HEPPLEWHITE GRANDFATHER'S CLOCK WITH INLAY. Pine with bird's-eye maple veneer and an old finish. Bracket feet and shaped aprons with a molded waist. Line border inlay around the case door and hood. The face is signed "C. Millar, Carduke" with the four seasons and a courting scene with Sir James in the arch. The hood has a broken arch crest. Restorations with a replaced base and touch up to the face. 89 1/2"h.
