<B>SCIMITAR HORNED ORYX SHOULDER MOUNT</B></I><BR> <I>Oryx dammah</B></I><BR>A beautiful animal with long scimitar-shaped horns, these oryx are no longer hunted in their native country of Chad. A semi-desert grazer, it is gregarious and mixes well with other herd animals. They have now been introduced onto Exotic Game ranches here in Texas and a few other places, and are doing well. The present mount exhibits superior workmanship and has good-sized horns for a mature bull, measuring 35 x 34 5/8 inches long with bases 6 x 5 7/8inches around.
