SCHWAB, CHARLES M.
(1862 - 1939) American industrialist, President of Carnegie Steel who sold the firm to J. P. Morgan and then headed Morgan's new firm, United States Steel. He resigned to establish Bethlehem Steel, and was later ruined in the 1929 Crash. Fine oversize I.S.P. 11"" x 14"" b/w, a handsome head and shoulders shot of Schwab wearing a dark suit, boldly inscribed in the blank beneath the image: ""To Louis S. Williams with kind remembrances of our association in the Emergency Fleet Co. Mar. 16th 1920 Charles Schwab"". A bit of creasing to corners, otherwise very good.
