RIFLE. Cal. 7.5 Swiss Cadet. S# 6727. Bbl. 23 1/4". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 1200m. All visible matching numbers.Rubber bolt knobs are loose & unnumbered. Approx. 7,900 of these reduced sized single shot straight pull rifles were mfg. between 1898-1927. They were used with a reduced loading for target use which had the advantage of lessened recoil. Blued finish. Walnut stock set with bottom mounted sling swivels. Right side of butt has partially visible Swiss cross cartouche. CONDITION: stock set appears lightly sanded with added finish, scattered dings, scratches & handling marks. Metal retains 60-70% arsenal blue with scattered fading, oxidation & edge wear. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bore. (25-2313/MJC). CURIO. $500-800.
