Fine black ink signature "Mark Twain" with paragraph on a 3 1/4" x 1 1/4" card. Fine. Sold with: ALBERT BIGELOW PAINE (1861-1937), American author and biographer best known for his work with Mark Twain, A.L.S., 2pp. 8vo., New York [n.d.], asking that no manuscripts be sent him as: "I am in the midst of a good deal of confusion...", with a small photo of Paine; also CYRIL CLEMENS, biographer and founder of the Mark Twain Society, a signed membership certificate in the society.
