Japanese WWII Ace who is credited with 64 aerial victories. On Dec 3, 1942, he shot down an American plane in the Philippines, in what was said to be Japan’s first aerial victory. On Jan 25, 1941, he downed an American B-17 the first Allied bomber to fall in the Pacific. SP, b/w, 7½"x5" half-length portrait in uniform. Boldly signed in Japanese and English beside his image.
