<B>A Sèvres Style Jewelled Vase, Fitted as a Table Lamp</B></I><BR><BR>Unknown maker, French<BR>Circa 1880<BR>Porcelain<BR>Unmarked<BR>14 inches high (porcelain)<BR><BR>Of baluster form finely painted around the body with young shepherds and shepherdesses tending to sheep and examining a bird's nest, with a mountainous lake landscape and sheep reclining on a grassy hill, on a bleu celeste ground embellished with gilt and applied with jewels.
