S&W MODEL 34-1  PINTO  REVOLVER.

Cal. 22 LR. S# M200000. Bbl. 2" nickel w/ serrated ramped integral blade & corresponding blued Micrometer rear sight. Shipped Sept. 26, 1983 at milestone serial number. -1 suffix of model number began 1960, "M" serial number prefix started 1969 because of 1968 GCA , -2 models began 1988 & Model 34's discontinued 1991. Non pinned bbl., but recessed nickeled cyl. having blued extractor w/ nickeled ejector rod. Two toned variation called "Pinto" by collectors; not a S&W designation. Blued rnd. butt frame having smooth Magna grips of wood appearing to be cherry w/ nickeled medallions. .365" checkered hammer spur & .375" grooved trigger; both case colored. Originally sold to S&W employee (S, Lysik) w/ all blued finish, 4" bbl., & checkered walnut grips. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: fair to good (tattered edges) blue 1 piece hinged box having end label marked "SPECIAL" for features, "B" as finish, bbl. of "4" & Spec. Ord. of "M601". Second label on interior w/ finish of "BN" & bbl. having 2 overwritten 4. All paperwork & cleaning kit. Factory letter & copy of original employee invoice supporting above info. CONDITION: overall near excellent appearance w/ very faint cyl. turn line from functioning; appears unfired having near excellent bore & grips.
