Smith & Wesson First Model Hand Ejector Triplelock Double Action Revolver, Special Order Target Model, #4327, .44 S&W Spec. cal., 7.5'' barrel, blue finish, correct pencil-numbered matching diamond checkered non-medallion walnut grips, factory special order adjustable rear target sight and high brass bead front sight. Shipped Feb. 8, 1910, to Marcus Hartley & Co., NYC, New York, with factory letter signed by S&W Historian Roy G. Jinks. Condition is very good retaining approx. 80%-85% thinning high polish blue, with most of the losses to the barrel assembly, backstrap and buttstrap; light general scuffs and scratches to balance of frame and sideplate. Grips with mild general flattening predominantly to right panel. Action is very good but congealed grease is present to lock work and should be cleaned; bore is excellent.
