''(Crown)/V'' proofmarks to barrel, frame and cylinder, then shipped Jan. 14, 1915, to Remington Arms-UMC Co., NYC, New York, who were purchasing agents for the British government. Includes factory letter signed by S&W Historian Roy G. Jinks. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 96% lightly thinning blue. Strong front and backstrap; topstrap with light general flaking.
