North U.S. military single shot pistol, converted to “in barrel” percussion from flintlock, .54 cal., 8-1/2” barrel, dark brown patina to metal surfaces, sharp markings, lock dated 1827, good action, good wood with old crackon right side of stock in front of the lock plate and two small round wood repairs to the left side of the stock above the trigger (possibly where a belt hook had been attached).
