Rustic Early American solid Pine Slant Front Secretary Writing Desk. It is fresh from an old estate here in Seattle. It was buried in the back of the garage of the sale. I have not cleaned it up or anything. It being sold as found.

It measures 41" tall x 29 1/2 wide x 15" deep.

The flip front panel is decorated with an old original paper flower medallion. As you can see that the finish on the inside is crackled. There is a screw missing on the hinged mechanism. The finish on the side is worn. These white paint splatters all over. It has a dusty appearance from being old and probably over spray from paint projects The side have a decorative appliqué. The stretcher piece at the bottom can serve as a foot rest or a bookshelf.

I have a desk similar to this one that I use in my kitchen. It is handy to store note pads and recipe cards and alike. The top can serve as a display for your antique kitchen collectibles are use as place to set some plants. It is a fabulous piece of a very handy size. It would not take much to restore it.
