Russian imperial style letter opener, fancy cast and gilted silver with enamel grip, showing small jewels, jade blade, fine quality workmanship, showing Russian 84 silver hallmark. The initials L. P. and a man’s head which may be Alexander or ancient Greek. The letter opener is contained within a velvet and satin line case with a light colored Russian wood exterior which is often found with Russian items. Very similar to Faberge, and although we were not able to identify the maker’s hallmark LP. A superb desk piece in the Russian imperial style. Est: $1,750 - $3,500

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
