Russian Silver-Gilt Old Believers Plaque of circular shape, the centre with a relief panel of figures standing at the base of a cliff before a small wooden church at the edge of a cornfield, a distant city and mountains on the horizon, the broad rim moulded and engraved with interwoven strapwork, reserved circular panels of armorials, a cross and inscription within volute and foliate borders, contained in a fitted oak case with applied Imperial cipher, dia. 20.1"" - 51 cm., 209.3 oz. - 6511 grams, St. Petersburg, 1882, assaymaster's mark: cyrillic AF, maker's mark: cyrillic ANS(?), possibly Alexander Stromov
