The front depicts a woodland forest scene of bear with 3 cubs cavorting among pine trees. Most of the gold wash in the interior has been worn off. A cabochon green stone appears at the closure. On both inner sides there is a hallmark of St. Petersburg, dating from 1908-1917, depicting the profile of a right-facing woman wearing a kokoshnik and the number 84, indicating a silver fineness of .875.
