Russian handmade trinket, jewel box egg, inspired by the designs of Carl Faberge for the Russian Royal family. Enamel & gilt over pewter with embedded Austrian crystals & a faux pearl on top. Opens on a hinge at the center to reveal an enameled compartment for trinkets of jewels, with magnetic closure. Sits on a permanently mounted stand. 4" H. Comes with gift box. ** this piece leans slightly off-center to the left on it's mounted legs, but could be corrected with a tiny pad attached to one leg bottom. Low reserve reflects a manufacturing defect.
