Beautiful little Russian Faberge inspired clock, trinket, jewel box. Enamel & gilt over pewter with embedded Austrian crystals. The egg sits on a matched gilt, tri-footed stand. The egg removes from the stand & opens at center to reveal an enameled interior with a tiny quartz flip out clock & storage below for trinkets of jewels. Approx 3" H X 2" D. Comes with gift box. Egg History: The egg was created by Carl Peter's workmaster, Henrik Winstrom and is crafted of gold, green and pink enamel in various shades, portrait diamonds, rose-cut diamonds, and satin lining. This egg is enameled in translucent pale green and latticed with rose-cut diamonds and decorated with opaque light and dark pink enamel roses and emerald green leaves.
