Heavily influenced by Will Eisner's classic comic, <B>The Spirit</B></I>, Moore's <B>Greyshirt</B></I> has become more than the material that has spawned it. This brilliant ten-page story, which debuted in October 2001, was written by Rick Veitch and illustrated by Russ Heath. Most notable is the incorporation of a surrogate for Pop Art's Roy Lichtenstein, allowing for brilliant mirroring between the tale's characters and the figures in the paintings. A tongue-in-cheek poke at fine vs. commercial art, insightfully illustrated by a man who we're sure could identify with the dilemma, Heath. These brilliant, white pages measure an overall 11" x 17" with a 10" x 15" image area. <B>Estimate: $800-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
