Nobel Prize–winning British author (1865–1936) best known for such colorful classics as Just So Stories, Captains Courageous, and The Jungle Book. Rare AQS, signed “Rudyard Kipling,” and dated April [18]98, on an off-white 4 x 6 sheet. Kipling pens the last two lines from his poem ‘In the Neolithic Age.” In full: “There are nine & sixty ways of constructing tribal lays—And - every - single - one - of - them - is - right.” In fine condition, with a horizontal fold above quote, and missing top left corner tip. A fine example of Kipling’s attempt for political correctness and the first such quote from Kilping we have ever offered.
