An absolutely enormous collection of approximately 14,000 personal, business, and bank checks from Rudy Vallee, all filled out in type or in another hand, dating from the 1930s and 40s, with almost all signed by Vallee, and a few signed by his attorney. Endorsements to some of the checks include Big Band leaders, western stars, and various Hollywood actors. In very good condition, with expected cancellation holes and stamps, scattered creases and expected wear. Originally acquired from his widow, this is a fiduciary feast from the prime of Vallee’s successful career. Oversized.
