His premature death from a perforated ulcer induced a wave of fan hysteria unmatched until the modern “paparazzi” age, including riots and suicide attempts by grief-stricken fans. Very nice vintage ink signature, “Rudolph Valentino, London 2-8-23,” on an off-white 3.25 x 2.25 slip affixed to a 4 x 2.75 light blue album page. In fine condition.
