Boxer convicted of murder whose conviction was overturned. He was also the inspiration for Bob Dylan’s classic ‘Hurricane.’ Notarized DS, signed “Rubin Carter,” one page, 8.5 x 14, January 22, 1964. Two year managerial agreement between Carter and Carmen Tedeschi, with the manager entitled to 33% of all monies earned by Carter. Signed at the bottom by Carter and Tedeschi. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, torn punch holes to top, scattered light toning and edge wear, and an ink notation to top right.
