<B>Roycroft Founder Elbert Hubbard Signed Limited Edition Book <I>So Here Then Are the Preachments Entitled the City of Tagaste, and a Dream and a Prophecy</B></I>,</B></I> hand illumined and also signed by Edith Andrews. (East Aurora, New York: Roycrofters, 1900), first limited edition (#49 of 50 on Imperial Japan Vellum), 21 pages, frontis portrait of Hubbard, 3/4 morocco with marbled boards and endpapers, banded spine with gilt title, top edge gilt, 4to (8" x 10.25"), no dust jacket likely as issued, signed and inscribed also on a free front endpaper "<I>For Dr. & Mrs. Herron, With love and blessings from their friend and brother, Elbert Hubbard May 28th, 1901</B></I>". A philosopher and writer, Hubbard founded Roycroft, an Arts and Craft movement community in East Aurora, New York. He and his wife were on the <I>Lusitania</B></I> and died on May 7, 1915 when it was torpedoed by a German submarine. Very good condition with just minor signs of wear on the cover. <I>From the Henry E. Luhrs Collection.</B></I>
