1) Royal Navy officer's bicorn hat composed of felt with black lace around the outside edges. There is a black cockade on the right side with a twisted gold bullion wire held in place with a gilt button with the King's crown over a fouled anchor. There are gold bullion wire decorations in the folds on the front and back. There is a natural leather sweat band with a label marked "7". The inside is lined with white silk with a "GIEVES Ltd." label. 2) Officer's gold bullion epaulettes with a silver fouled anchor. The buttons have the King's crown over a fouled anchor. The underside is lined with black leather with a gold embossed "GIEVES LIMITED" label and blue padded cloth. With hardware for attaching epaulettes to a uniform. 3) Black fabric leather lined sword belt with gold bullion along the edges. The hardware is guilt metal and there is a gold embossed "GIEVES LIMITED" label on the leather. 4) Storage tin with "D.B. WILDISH/R.N." painted on the lid. The inside is lined with wine colored velvet and there is a folding shelf/mirror on the underside of the lid. There are two folding shelves for the epaulettes. There is a lidded compartment in the bottom center for the belt which the hat sits over. With a photograph of a Lieutenant (possibly D.B. Wildish) wearing similar epaulettes, belt and holding a similar hat.

Condition: 1) Excellent, there is some staining inside. 2) Excellent, there is some oxidation on the attachment hardware. 3) Very good, the gold bullion has dulled. The gilt components have a generally bright appearance with some oxidation. 4) Very good, 95% plus of the original finish remains with some scratches, dings and some light oxidation. There are a number of scratches on the bottom of the shelf/mirror. There are some worn spots on the lining.
