In part: “The information given to a Mr. Appleton, of the balance of three millon dollars of old emission bills, due from this State to the United States is communicated to him in a private letter.” In good condition, with old tape repairs to intersecting folds, paper loss to edges, uniform toning, and light pencil remnants.
