Royal Doulton Very Rare Withdrawn Character Dog, charming puppy playfully chewing a black Doll, designed by Frederick Daws, issued 1930's, hand painted in white, brown and black with a gloss finish, Royal Doulton backstamp. Measures 3"H. Very few of these are known to exist. This model was quickly withdrawn after complaints that the doll could be mistaken for a child.
