Commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey on June 2, 1953, this striking two-handled Royal Doulton loving cup was designed by Charles Noke and Harry Fenton. It features a richly colored relief portrait of Queen Elizabeth I on one side, with an Elizabethan naval scene, and a complementary portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with royal arms and flags on the reverse. The rim is encircled by heraldic crests and coats of arms, with exquisite molded detail throughout.
