Porcelain sculpture depicting the Greek hero Bellerophon in armor adorned with the head of Medusa on his chest plate, shown restraining the rearing winged horse Pegasus. The piece displays detailed hand-painted decoration with gilded accents on the bridle, helmet, and armor, and is mounted on a round base decorated with Greek-style motifs, rosettes, and geometric borders. The underside bears the Royal Doulton backstamp, marked Prototype No. 1, signed by artist D. Capewell, and dated 2.2.07. Measurements are approximate and may vary slightly.
