Produced by Royal Bayreuth, c 1900, or their antecedents as the bottom mark for "Sontag & Sons (Royal Bayreuth) Tettau, Bavaria Porcelain indicates. We assume the marking ?Caravane?, underneath the seal, is the name of the pattern. This beautiful, and delicate, Art Nouveau sugar bowl, with its lid, and creamer features a multicolored pastel finish with red and yellow roses on each side. The rims and handles have sculpted open work rims liberally accentuated with gold trim. The cream pitcher measures 3 1/2 inches tall ? the sugar bowl, with lid measures about 4 inches to the top of its corkscrew shaped finial and 5 3/4 inches wide across the handles. All three of the pieces are in excellent condition without damage or crazing.
