1) This is a Victorian era Royal Artillery Volunteer officer's undress sabretache. Composed of black patent leather with a silvered badge on the front with the Victorian crown above the Royal Arms of Great Britain with a cannon at the bottom. 2) Pair of Royal Artillery Militia shoulder scales. Composed of silvered scales with a silvered button having a crown over three cannons, a gilt badge having three King's crowns on a maltese cross on a star and a crown over a garter marked "UBIQUE" with three cannons in the center. The underside has black velvet and silvered brass attachment hardware. Consignor's notes state these are for a Major circa 1837.

Condition: 1) Very good, there are some indentions, crazing and an area of flaking on the front flap. The interior shows some minor wear. 2) Very good, with a dark aged patina on the silver and bright appearance on the gilt components. There are a few small dings overall and some wear to the underside.
