Original 1980 Canadian pressing of *Avoid Freud* by Rough Trade, issued by True North Records (catalog TN-43). This groundbreaking queer-centric new wave album features the provocative track “High School Confidential,” known for its openly LGBTQ+ themes and edgy delivery by frontwoman Carole Pope. The cover art is iconic in the underground scene—dark, glamorous, and confrontational. Jacket shows moderate shelf wear and a small pen mark in the upper left corner. Vinyl is untested but appears VG (light cosmetic wear visible). A must-have for collectors of queer music history, new wave, or Canadian indie vinyl.
