<B>Roster of African-Americans Receiving Federal Passes.</B></I> Manuscript document, "<I>list of oyster men that passes have been issued to by the Provost Marshal.</B></I>", one page with verso docketing, 7.75" x 12.5", Yorktown, Virginia, November 27, 1862. Thirteen pairs of "<I>colored</B></I>" men and four individuals are noted here on this scarce Yankee document. One white man was listed; however, his name has been stricken from the list. Overall light browning as expected, one small split along a horizontal fold.
