An elderly lady, sitting in a chair at her fifth floor window, sees the flying Sub-Mariner and quickly runs to the telephone and calls for the police. This exuberant page from the second appearance of the Defenders, is penciled by Ross Andru and inked by Sal Buscema. Great shots of Sub-Mariner in flight make this page a must-have. The overall page size is 10.5" x 15.75" with a 10" x 15" image area. The work is clean with very little wear, with only two tape stains at the top and bottom of the page to mar an otherwise perfect condition page. <B>Estimate: $300-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium. On occasion eBay live bid software cannot keep up with the pace of the auctions where 4-5 lots per minute can hammer down, so we recommend that you place a realistic absentee bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment. Also please note that all Heritage/CAA lots purchased through eBay Live carry a 20% Buyer's Premium. Please make sure you read the Terms and Conditions.
