Ross Andru and Jim Mooney - The Amazing Spider-Man #126, page 32 (Marvel, 1973). While most of this issue pitted Spidey against the Kangaroo -- surely one of the most uninspired villains of the Bronze Age -- this eerie epilogue was the first indication that the disturbed Harry Osborn would indeed take up his father's mantle, and eventually assume the identity of the Green Goblin. Although never as highly regarded as Ditko or Romita, Ross Andru had a long, solid run on the series in the '70s, and has come to be a favorite of many Spider-Man collectors. This outstanding, moody page (which also includes a lovely shot of Mary Jane Watson) is in excellent condition, with very little white-out, mostly in the word balloons. 10 1/2" x 16". Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour. Sometimes eBay Premier live bid software cannot keep up with that pace, so we strongly recommend that you place a realistic proxy bid now as insurance to avoid disappointment.
