This blue spongeware pitcher is from an early Roseville line called Cornelian 1. A rarely seen blue color with green and yellow flecks. The pattern is an embossed stalk of corn with the ear partly open. 9" tall and 8" from spout to end of handle.
Small chip on spout and a horizontal hairline crack on one side. This crack shows only from the inside.
An exciting find that combines the seldom seen corn pattern with a very rare coloration. This one is for the informed collector. The price is low because of the flaws.
