Rose Leonard was a Canadian painter celebrated for her evocative landscapes and still lifes. Born in 1916, she spent much of her life in New Brunswick before relocating to British Columbia. Leonard's work often depicted serene natural scenes, capturing the essence of the Canadian wilderness with a gentle yet vivid touch.
In 2014, she returned to her roots in New Brunswick, presenting a solo exhibition titled The Crow’s Home at Fog Forest Gallery in Sackville. This collection featured a variety of mediums, including glass etchings, stone sculptures, and paintings, reflecting her diverse artistic skills and personal journey .
Leonard's art is characterized by its subtle color palettes and a deep connection to nature. Her works have been featured in various galleries and auction houses, with pieces like Old Man River (1994) and Untitled: Yellow Roses garnering attention for their delicate portrayal of the natural world .

We ship through Canada Post, which means we only ship within the parameters of their dimensions & weight. Anything won in our auctions above and beyond that will be forfeited.
