English singer (1938–1972) and leader of Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, which also employed Ringo Starr as their drummer until 1962. Original unsigned Rory Storm and the Hurricanes business card, 3.5 x 2.5, dating from 1959–1960. The reverse side of the card features a list of the group’s achievements up to 1959, with the final listing being the ‘Carol Levis Final’ at the Liverpool Empire. The show saw an entry from another local group, Johnny and the Moondogs, who would go on to be arguably the biggest group in the world, The Beatles. In fine condition, with some light show-through from printing on reverse. Card originates from the collection of Ty O’Brien, lead guitarist in Rory Storm and the Hurricanes.
