<B>Ronald Reagan Autograph Letter.</B></I> One page, 6" x 8.25", Los Angeles, California, August 31, 1958. A very attractive letter to Chet Sampson, a legendary Scoutmaster who took scouts on tours of the West, National Parks, and other sites, and always a stop in Hollywood, where various stars greeted the kids and supported his efforts. One of his patrons was Reagan, who wrote this letter to apologize for being out of town during Sampson's August tour. Reagan once wrote to Sampson: "<I>I have been most happy to meet your wonderful teenagers every year for ten years. I admire the work you are doing with these education tours.</B></I>" Very fine condition.
