Ronald Wilson Reagan (1911-2004) enjoyed several rewarding careers all packed into one lifetime: radio sports announcer, Hollywood contract player at Warner Bros. during the “golden age,” President of the Screen Actors Guild, Governor of California, and 40th President of the United States. In his familiar, capable, down-to-earth style, he writes about all of these in <I>An American Life</B></I>, which includes a bookplate signed <I>“Ronald Reagan”</B></I> attached to the Simon and Schuster logo page at the front of the book.
