<td width="100%">
this magnificent Romantic opera glass binocular is made of mother of pearl. here's the story and provenance: i was invited to a private auction of a famous Laguna Beach 20th C. Artist / painter/writer. it was experience that i will never forget. when we walked in to his house / shack in Laguna Beach, every thing was magnificent. among the superb item that my husband and i acquired, this binocular caught my attention. he gave this opera glass to his wife long time ago. it came from San Fransisco and has some initials between the two lense. w.j.h.& j.L. to A.K. H. i am not sure what than means or even i can read it right. the binocular is really old and semi-working condition. needs some TLC. although i liked it just like this wear and tear comes with being old, also all t pieces are in place. is and don't want to clean or service it. this is collectible opera glass and perhaps from one lover to another. unique in every word. i just fell in love with this piece and paid high price.. the opera glass/ binocular measures 2.5 in height. exquisite and decorative accessory.
