A published Roman red-ware fragment with Jesus as the Good Shepherd, North Africa, c. 5th Century AD, - John 10 - This fragment depicts Jesus as the good shepherd. Jesus is rather elaborately dressed with a ram around his shoulders. - Light from the Age of Augustine no.38 p. 50 (this piece). This fragment belonged to Cornelius C. Vermeule who was the curator of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. This piece has also been published in Light from the Age of Augustine by John J. Herrmann Jr. and Annewies Van Den Hoek.
