A published Roman red-ware Lanx fragment with The Apostle Paul, North Africa, c. 5th Century AD, - 'This fragment shows the lower part of a seated Saint Paul like the one in the preceding fragment. Saint Paul's feet are placed on an ornamented footstool' (Light from the Age of Augustine p. 54 no. 42 (This piece). This fragment belonged to Cornelius C. Vermeule who was the curator of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. This piece has also been published in Light from the Age of Augustine by John J. Herrmann Jr. and Annewies Van Den Hoek.
