Rolling Stones Some Girls Display. During the m
Rolling Stones "Some Girls" Display. During the mid-'70s, the Rolling Stones remained massively popular, but their records suffered from Mick Jagger's fascination with celebrity and Keith Richard's worsening drug habit. By 1978, both punk and disco had pushed the group into the background, and "Some Girls" was their fiery response to the younger generation. Featured here is a promotional stand-up designed to promote the album. It features the redone album cover, as the original was immediately altered after the album's release due to the use of unlicensed images of certain celebrities on the cover. This was the largest stand-up printed to promote the release of the album, and it was never commercially available, having only been intended for display in major chain stores. Overall condition is Very Good with two minor dings on the edge of the album portion, two small creases in the hair flip, two minor creases on the fold, a 1" tear on the bottom right corner, and some writing on the back in black marker.
