Ronnie Wood’s personal sketchbook. This hardcover sketch book measures 8.25 x 11.75 and contains 12 original pencil and felt tip sketches by Wood, all from around 1994, including three signed sketches, one signed “Ronnie Wood,” one signed “Ronnie,” and one signed “R. W.” Book also bears a striking full page colorful oil painting, labeled on the adjacent page, “The Storm, San Antonio Nov. 4 ‘94, The devil in the tree.” Several of the sketches are also labeled by Woods, including “His N’ Her Foot N’ Bodywear, Philly ‘94,” under a work of several intertwined nude bodies; a two-page very bold head-and-shoulders image of an old man, notated “Sing it…You swine B’nard. Edmonton ‘94 Alberta, Ronaldo Canada 1994”; and a felt tip image of a man headed, “Hooray I…ran out of ink.” Other unlabeled subjects in the book include Mick Jagger, a woman on a horse, and Albert Einstein. Also inside is a pencil sketch of Wood, done by Keith Richards, and signed in the lower corner, “My mate Ron, Filthy Swine, Keith.”

As well as the sketches, there are several lists by Woods, which appear to be drafts of a potential set list. One page is headed at the top, “My Fifteen,” with “Thee Ev’rythin’ Mus’ Go Tour Video,” with Wood listing fifteen Stones songs, including “Rocks Off,” “Wild Horses,” “Miss You,” “Only R & R,” “Brown Sugar,” and “J.J.F.” The inside front cover and first page are full of two lists, headed at the top, “Stones Vids,” listing 23 Stones songs on the right-hand page, many of which appeared in the set lists of their Voodoo lounge tour, with some notations next to the titles, including “Shattered” “Satisfaction,” “Honky Tonk,” “Love Is Strong…Nice Mick outfit,” “Monkey Man…nice Charlie,” with a list of 20 songs and notations on the inside front cover. In fine condition, with a few partial separations along hinges, evidence of a few pages having been removed, expected handling wear, and some soiling and staining to covers. A unique and interesting look at the venerable guitarist’s artistic talent.
