He drowned in 1969 shortly after leaving the band, with the coroner stating the cause was ‘death by misadventure.’ Color vintage 8.5 x 11 magazine photo of Jones in a dark tie and striped sports coat, signed in black ballpoint, “Brian Jones XX.” Clipped corner tips and a central horizontal fold, otherwise fine condition. Jones is quite scarce in single-signed images.
