Double-sided 12˝ Emidisc stereo acetate for the 1968 Rolling Stones album Beggars Banquet, filled out on the labels in ballpoint: "Beggar's Banquet, Side #1 Stereo, Rolling Stones" and "Beggar's Banquet, Side #2 Stereo, Rolling Stones." Complete with its original sleeve, marked "Beggar's Banquet, Rolling Stones," in the same hand. In very good to fine condition, with toning, soiling, and light staining to the covers. The acetate was formerly the property of Rolling Stones Fan Club secretary Shirley Arnold, who was given the disc by the band on the day of the launch party on 5th December 1968; accompanied by a handwritten letter from Shirley Arnold, which reads: “The band gave me this acetate on the day of the launch party for the album. Where many a custard pie was thrown!” Also includes a certificate of authenticity from Tracks.
