Rolling Stone Magazine #1 (1967). This historic publication looks pretty humble today. It's more of a tabloid newspaper, with a skimpy page count of only 24 sheets, all in black and white. Among the news items of the day: John Lennon stars in Richard Lester's new film, How I Won the War; the Beatles set up the Apple Boutique in London, and David Crosby is fired from the Byrds, heading off to live on his new boat in Florida until he decides "what's next." The paper grades out at a conservative VG, with a few page tears, stains, a center fold, and a set of two staple holes along the top border being the main detractions. It's still a very readable copy, looking pretty good for its 40 years!

Shipping: Flat Material, Large (view shipping information)
