Rolleiflex 2.8C TLR Camera Schneider Kreuznach
For your consideration is a Vintage Rollieflex 2.8C TLR Schneider Kreuznach Xenotar 1:2.8/80 Camera, circa 1952-1955. Made by Franke & Heidecke of Rollei cameras in Germany. Rollei was a German manufacturer of optical instruments and cameras, founded in 1920, that established a worldwide reputation with the Rolleiflex, a twin-lens reflex camera. Rollei cameras typically used Carl Zeiss or Schneider Kreuznach lenses. In the 1950s, almost every press photographer owned a Rolleiflex. This camera comes in its beautiful, original velvet-lined interior leather case, a "Photo DustOff Brush" in its own metal cylinder case in a leather pouch attached to the leather neck strap. The camera shows good condition overall with light wear present from its age and use over the years, but there are no signs of obvious damage noted on the camera. Camera has not been tested for functionality, but interior components appear to be in good condition. The camera in case measures 4"W x 4.5"L x 6"H, combined weight 3lb, 4oz.
