Condition: Very Good
To the unaided eye, the piece looks to be in very good condition. Closer inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no issues or signs of restoration. The piece is framed in a rustic carved frame with a gold inner edge. The frame is in very good condition with little wear. Verso: [inscribed by the artist] The worn moccasins (circa 1910) and the rough, leather container (circa 1895) are Cheyenne. The bag with the beaded, blue pony (circa 1885) is Lakota (Sioux). The worn and chipped, black olla (circa 1900-1910) is from the Santa Clara Pueblo in north-central New Mexico. The hide with hair is bison.
